Things to see & do near the Shonai cycling route
Mt. Hagurosan is well known one of three big mountains in Dewa region,
as big as Mt. Gassan and Mt. Yudonosan.This shrine is asacred place for
the religion of mountain and mountaineering asceticism. To the top of mountain,
the front approach to the Hagurosan Shrine, visitors walk about two kilometers
in a solemo and silent environment.
