Things to see & do near the Hinuma Swamp cycling route
In the Hitachi Seaside National Park, visitar can see various flowers in
all seasons. In spring there are Nemophila, Narcissus and Tulip. In early
summer, there are Poppy and Rose. In autumn there are Kochia and Cosmos.
In winter there are Ice Tulip etc.

There is a west pond at the west entrance gate.
In autumn visitar can see red color of Kochia at the Miharashi no Oka Hill.
There is a cycling course in the park. In spring visitors can see Nemophila
at the Miharashi no Oka Hill.
The Kairakuen Park is one of the best 3 parks in Japan with the Kenrokuen
Park in Kanazawa-city, and the Korakuen Park in Okayama-city. This park
was made by the Mito feudal lord in 1842. The plum-blossom festival in
Mito-city is famous which is held from around the middle of February to
the end of March.

The Togyokusen Entrance and the plum garden.
