The Koga-sogo park is a big park which has a space about 25 hectare. It began in 1455 when the Lord Ashikaga Shigeuji came to reside here in the shogunate palace. It has a big peach grove and it is very beautiful at the flowering period. It also has a pond of Oga-hasu lotus which was revived after 2000 years from the ancient seeds.
